General Information
About Our Library
- Our Library Contains over 17,000 books.
- Please show your student ID to check out a book.
- Books are due within 14 school days, and you may check out 2 books at one time.
- Students will be unable to check out books if they have overdue books or fines.
- Other than water, please do not eat or drink beverages in the library. If you break this rule you will be asked to leave the library.
- Return books in the return book slot.

Media Center Technology Use
Computers and Printing
- Library computers are for school work only.
- You must first ask before printing to the Media Center printer. Staff members also use this printer.
- Do not print photos from the internet. Instead, copy & paste photos into a Word documents and then print.
- If you need to print slides from Power Point: Print 2 slides to a page, Select Pure Black and White from color printing options.
- If you need help, please ask, we are happy to help you!
Cell Phone Use
- You may use your phone in the media center during lunch. Please use headphones while listening to music.
Gift Policy
- Gifts are always appreciated. All gifts will be evaluated and placed in the appropriate collection.
- Gifts may be added to the Media Center collection or given to teachers for classroom libraries.
Circulation Policy
- Students may checkout books by scanning their student ID card.

Library materials are checked out to parents and students for 14 days and may be renewed, if necessary, if there are no pending holds.

We do not charge for overdue materials.

Patrons may not check out additional library materials until overdue materials are returned.

All materials checked out of the media center are the responsibility of the patron.

Lost or damaged materials must be paid for in full before additional materials may be borrowed.

A book is considered lost if it has not been returned or renewed within 90 days.

Refunds will be given only if a lost book is found and returned to the media center in good condition.

Lost or damaged books may be paid for using the inTouch system online.

If a book has been lost, paid for, and then found again and it's returned in good condition before a replacement copy has been purchased, a refund will be issued for the full amount by the School Unified School District.

Reference books may not be checked out and are for use in the media center only.

All library materials must be returned to the media center at the end of every school year for inventory.
